I don't recall Robinson being the No.1 dual threat QB coming out of high school and I don't think he's better than Shep.

DR was ranked as the No. 14 athlete in the country, just behind Drayton Calhoun.

Somehow RR got him ready to play.

That allows him to touch the ball every play.

YOu guys really don't get it. Those type offenses are nice, and can get you wins WHEN you play teams you can physically whip. However, when you go up against a defense within the SEC, and specifically the upper echelon of D's, that running crap won't get it. Teams will shut that down in the SEC, and those qb's are not really good passers when you force them to beat you with their arms. Pryor is a perfect examply at Ohio State...yes the media trying to pump him as heisman hopeful....but he can't pass.....not can harris of miami...and you will find that robinson and michigan would get shut down against a good defense that could stop him from running. You are forgetting that Notre Dame defense sucks. Again, would we have a better offense week in and week out with that kind of offense? probably...but in the end you have to have a pro style offense to win the big ones.....

Didn't Florida win a BCS title with the spread offense?

I know they had one of the best players ever, but still, those other players like Harvin made it work too.

A damn good Bama team lost to Utah in the Sugar with their spread offense.

And WVU beat a damn good Georgia team as well in the Sugar with a spread offense.

All I know is that Denard Robinson is the MAN. Those numbers he put up would be hard to put up against any team.
