Is it truly CLM that is teaching and instructing, or is it the Position coaches? I think Porter and McCarthy were lacking, Wilson and Gonzo are definately upgrades. Pelini was strong during his tenure, and I think the results indicate such. The Malveto debacle is a large part of Woods's production, not to mention the likelyhood Woods ranking out of highschool was based on Single A talent performance and not SEC D1 opponents. Looks like Gonzo has Shep on track to be something really special, and Cooper / Chief are working towards something special with PP7 and the youngsters. The two glaring holes are OL (CLM added BWilkerson) and QB - CLM has NEVER said he was "Spurrier in a Hat. "

Honestly, even though CLM was able to bring in top 10 classes, I think the level of talent recruited for the O-Line and at QB was raw at best, more likely sub-par, evidenced by the lack of depth at these positions.

Stud and Crowton have been crushed by the blog-boards, and the fruits of their abilities (or lack thereof) are unfortunately proving them correct.
