Call a couple of plays to pick up a first down, now that would put us right on the edge of FG range. The defense is playing off to protect against the pass. I would stay four wide, shotgun, and run the inside zone with my big, power back. Time is not an issue anymore because with just a few more yards we will be in field goal range. Maybe, the defense won't be ready for it, and we might break the line of scrimmage for a good gain. Remember, this is our big, power back, so he might also break a tackle from the safety and sprint to the endzone for a game winning TD.....

assuming he doesn't point to the sky and get a 15 yard celebration penalty.

what personnel does the defense have in?
have they been stunting most of the game?
have they been showing blitz? have they actually been blitzing or dropping back into zones?
what are their tendencies on passing downs?
have their corners been playing off or have been pressing?
what are their tendencies on different down and distance?
how are their linebackers in coverage?
have they been overloading one side or crashing the gaps during blitzes?
have the safeties been creeping up to the line of scrimmage?
do they drop into zones or play man during blitzes?
how has the back been in pass pro?
have they been bringing in different personnel when we make substitutions or are they sticking to a base defense?
