I think we're the minority that use Paint.net. It looks like you added noise in the background layer. I don't think I would have done that. My attention is drawn to the white area to the right of Hill that looks like a backwards 7. I personally don't like the motion blur either.

I think I would have changed the brightness and contrast to give Hilliard a little darkness, kind of make the image tone ominous.

All in all, good stuff. Just a few things I might have done differently.

just not willing to fork up for PS.
i went back and redid it yesterday before i saw your post and almost did exactly that. changed the background noise, make it black and white with some added contrast.
changed out the motion blur for just a bit of glow effect around KH, added an additional layer with some contrast to brighten up the uni and darken KH a bit.

thinking of removing the background noise, maybe do a little unfocus on it, and toning down the glow on KH.

thanks for that, always looking for ways to make better images with these nice photos.

I did a schedule last year, I believe. It wasn't great work. I haven't done any baseball vectors. I'll try to something done for ya'll this season. I haven't seen any great source images.

Yes, I'm waiting for baseball backgrounds now.

I'm not finding great baseball source material. I had an idea but I couldn't find all the components I needed. Google could only find 2 decent high resolution Alex Box Stadium images. Unless someone has some great source images, I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to get anything put together for ya'll.

Damn that sucks.
