I just learned yesterday that 2 of my cousins that live in Venice, LA were asked to be on and filmed for swamp people. The denied it because of that exact reason. I guess they figured they would be made to look stupid. They are some awesome hunters too. They used to do the hunting for my uncle down there who got 350+ tags and was the top tag getter in the state. Their two largest was 13ft 6in and 13ft 10in.
