LaSpada - MVC best ever
"Just two games into his junior season, LaSpada is not just the consensus top player in the state and a Division 1A college football prospect, but many already consider him the greatest quarterback in the history of the Merrimack Valley Conference, which was founded in 1965."
"LaSpada has to be at the top of the list," said Bob Aylward, the longtime Tewksbury head coach (1974-89, 1995-96) and father of current Redmen coach Brian Aylward.
"Given his ability to run and throw, and just his game-breaking ability put him in a very special category. He is one of the very special athletes. He has to rank among the all-time, all-time greats."
