Yea because T-Bob didn't get DESTROYED in SEC play last year. Its not like he gained weight either. How many teams in the SEC have 280lb Guards?
I hate how everybody acts like they know for sure that a lack of size and strength are the reason that T-Bob had a rough year last year. We don't know that that's the reason. It may have had something to do with his technique or how quick he was or something else. Playing offensive line is not just about being a big guy. Brett Helms weighed around 270 which is not much different than T-Bob and he was an All-SEC offensive linemen. And Helms also played guard his first couple years at LSU before he moved to center after Niswanger graduated, so don't argue that Helms could not have done well at guard. IN 2005 he beat out Will Arnold, who was supposed to be an All-American type of player, and he started at guard until he was injured in the Tennessee game and was out for the rest of the year. So it'
s not true that just because T-Bob isn't huge he can't play guard. Players improve from year to year as they get more experience. He played a pretty good game against UNC.
