Whether it was a good call or not, the holding cost the team a touchdown

What a moronic statement! So, if I understand this correctly, you are saying that regardless of whether T-Bob actually committed a foul, you are going to hold a recalled touchdown against him?

It is that kind of shitty attitude that is rampant on this board. Why the frick do we even have a spring, summer, and fall camp? Obviously, no player in the world can get better. Let's just use the stats from last year and transpose them to this year, since, according to most, what happened last year will happen this year no matter what. No one improves.

Most of these T-Bob haters were on the bandwagon when we recruited him as one of the top centers in high school. Then they got on the T-Bob hate wagon as soon as it was cool to do so. Now they are testing the waters to see if it is OK to get back on the T-Bob love wagon. It is ridiculous. The kid played admirably in a tight spot on Saturday. He was light years better than Hitt last year, and in limited action, was markedly better than Williford.

Also, it seems like some of you have not been watching LSU football for very long. When it comes to injuries, there has often been one guy that was a "6th" man. He would sub at any spot on the OL. Ironically, this was usually the back up center, because, hold on to your sweater vest, the center has to know the assignment of every lineman on a particular play.

The only argument that holds water is the idea of switching Lonergan and T-Bob.

I agree with what you're saying, but isnt it a little worrying that we dont have any decent OL backups? Have the second string guards and tackles just not made any progress?

Tbob seemed awful last year, but he is likely better now, and being next to Hitt didnt help either. But damn, where's the beef??

I'll take exception to that statement. I'll quote from none other than that Cajun philosopher,Bobby Hebert, who said after a Saints game"that the Saints had a great offense because they had a great center in Goodwin. Hebert said that the offense starts with the center. He said,"show me a great offense and I'll show you a great center." I say, conversely, you show me a bad offense and I'll show you a bad center.Hopefully, Miles will take Hebert's statement to heart and keep T-Bob from the center position.I personally think Bobby Hebert is right on with his statement. At least last year his statement was accurate.
