really are Faulk, Shaw, and Branch that bad that they can't beat out Hebert or the guy that the coaches were afraid to put in (Williford) even though he has been practicing at the position and is the stated backup. Faulk and Shaw were highly recruited, I know we have them at tackle, but can't they be converted to play guard? or were they just highly overrated? or move Hurst inside.

Branch is the next best guard. They should play him at RG--easier and better transtion than moving a true center who is underweight and recovering from a busted leg.

Agree that surely among Shaw, Faulk and Branch, that I forgot earlier, one of those can show the coaches they are ready, if the staff does not have confidence in JW. I do not know if we can trust Stud to make the right decision, based on last year, and just hope one of those big guys can really step forward so we're not stuck with mediocrity at best with T-Bob.
