9 1st downs with JJ at QB. We will not consistently win if we cannot sustain drives.

Actually we had 11, but two additional 1st downs were 1 play drives.

Jefferson is just part of the problem. He is unable to read defenses. If is primary receiver is covered he holds the ball. He is unable to find the secondary receiver quickly. He holds the ball too long putting to much responsibility on a young questionable offensive line to hold their blocks.

Miles seems to have the same problem that Dale Brown had, he is a good motivator of questionable talent but is unable to coach talented players to the next level. Penalties are a reflection of lack of coaching ability. You do not see great teams making stupid mistakes like LSU did on Saturday night.

Crowton is just a poor coach in my opinion, he does not know how to utilize the talent that he has.

LA Tech last year. WE score ONE Field goal in the 2nd half. LA TECH!!!!

Lee played most of the 2nd vs. Bama and all of it vs. Tech

Im not advoacating JL to start over JJ,,, just let the dude have a couple series and see if our offense moves better/more consistent.

The problem is the sunshiners dont get is WE PLAYED THEIR SCOUT TEAM!!!

And thats all the production we got. With PPS Superman effort, LSU should have posted 50+ points against NC

WE HAVE NO OFFENSIVE LEADER, DAMN!

He gave up one sack and it was due to his intentional grounding. Right after we punched a TD in to go up 27 points with 11 minutes to go in the game (called back, holding)

And we crushed them up until 11 minutes to go in the game. What part about that did you miss? I don't like how the offense shut down in the 2nd half but that's on Crowton.

If not for a shoddy holding call on Tbob we're strolling to the tune of 37-10 with 10 minutes to go in the game.

To think that Jefferson is the problem is not looking at the entire situation with an open mind. Same thing for those that think Jefferson is not part of the problem.

It is not a simple as one player or one coach. Jefferson showed improvement from last year in this game and I think he will in the next one also. But to think some of Jefferson's problems do not alter the play calling is having your head in the sand.

No shite. People point to LT as reason to not play JL.

I have seen JJ in 15 starts (6 more than Lee) and the offensive production is 300 ypg.

weren't you the one defending lee in 2008 because of the shitty defense?

why don't you defend jefferson now?

he is not the reason the defense gave up 400+ yards passing

and lee wasn't the reason the Defense gave up all those yards in 2008.

god damn man, you are are a fricking hypocrite who needs to reevaluate your lot in life if all your pleasure is had in tearing down LSU's starting qb because of some weird jarrett lee fetish/obsession.

get a new hobby, because this one has gotten pretty fricking old

They altered their play calling against a SCOUT TEAM. And posters think he's not part of the problem

Has Jefferson ever threw for over 250 yards? How does one accomplish this with such a high completion percentage and qb rating? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he never tries to move the chains and throws underneath the defense most of the time.

Wouldn't that mean that Crowton was the issue? That seems like the universally accepted idea here.
