It couldn’t me more obvious to me, if you are satisfied with ugly wins, with getting lucky to win games against teams we should have beaten by 50 points, with getting lucky to win games against opponents with decimated first team offenses and defenses, with winning games when the opponents beat us in total yards, first downs, time of possession, and number of plays, in other words, every which way but on the score board, with occasionally losing games to teams we should have easily beaten, with winning only 8 to 9 games a season, with losing games because of piss poor game management skills, with sloppy and undisciplined play, and with plain mediocrity, then congratulations you are a positiger

If, on the other hand, you aren’t happy with any of the above, then congratulations you are a negatiger as for as the Rant is concerned.

IMO by at least the end of this year both posi and negi tigers will once again be united.

I would like to have championship teams and/or at least teams thta play as hard and competently as they are capable.
I didn't see that last nite or much of last season...
So, so des the N word (other than "nitwit") describe me?

He loss to Northeast out of Monroe when rebuilding Alabama too, but since then he has gone undefeated the past two seasons in a row and won a MNC, and subsequent to losing to UAB, he won a MNC at LSU too.

By at least the end of this year the FULL jury of the Tiger nation will be on the same page about Miles. One way or the other.

And you were 100% sure he would do that after he lost to UAB?

I don't know what that has to do with the fact that Less Miles is mediocre at best, but Saban never had the good fortune of walking into a loaded to the gills football team and program.

the way you framed the argument is actually the root of the problem. Negatigers like to throw out stupid comments like Miles is the worst at this and Crowton is the worst at that and rarely provide any insight that's worth reading. And then imply anything short of being perfect is accepting mediocrity when it's not. And most fans do not want to accept mediocrity. But acting as if you are a bastion of wisdom and yours is the opinion that should define what is acceptable for a fan is just stupid.

Half the time, posi-tigers are merely arguing to provide a counterpoint. Sure, there are some naive sunshine pumpers, but half the time I think they are merely trying to provide a counterpoint to the incessent, poorly backed up arguments made by negative posters. Neither of the extremes explain their arguments well.

Why is it so hard to discuss flaws without resorting to hyperbole? There are flaws. Are you capable of discussing them without trying to skew things into "so and so is the worst HC/OC/fill in the blank"?

I just find the negative ilk annoying because where they are quick to criticize, they refuse to give credit for anything the team does well; instead, they dwell on the negatives and look for ways to find new problems and somehow think that makes them smart.

There are plenty of intelligent threads criticizing specific aspects of the game which are not devolving into stupid arguments about the inadequacy of Miles, Crowton, etc. Why don't you go prove how smart you are by participating in them instead of spewing this tired drivel?

No. But Saban was in the 4th game of his first year when we lost that game. The team improved from there. "Negatigers" focus on the current downward trend of not playing up to potential, while "positigers" either focus on the past or simply ignore the writing on the wall.

A positiger is one who enjoys LSU wins. A negatiger is one who does not enjoy an LSU win.
Look at all the negative posts today. LSU won last night and most of the posts are negative.

No…I think I summarized it up pretty succinctly.

Sorry but accepting mediocrity is hardly a counter argument. It is mediocrity. And lame excuses are well excuses.

I’m sorry but there is no way to sugarcoat mediocrity. Mediocrity is mediocrity.

No…you find any and all honesty annoying.
