2004 Honda Rancher. No electric push button shift. Bought it with the foot shifter instead. It's too hard to drive, drink a beer, and shift at the same time if you have to use your left thumb.

Absolutely. I have an ES, and I have to get in third gear, and then turn the beer up before I have to up/downshift.
