Taurus has pulled off one he'll of a marketing campaign and sold a lot of people on a really stupid idea.
I purchased one for the wife to have for protection at home, in case she ever needs it.. It does double duty, for it rides on my tractor, loaded with no. 7.5's when I'm bush hogging...I didn't buy mine for a designated carry, or snake gun.

would never screw up a hunt to shoot one. I do carry a .38 snubby while scouting sometimes, but never while hunting. It's just not necessary

No brah, don't get out yet. You seem to be the voice of reason at times.

If the judge works for you then go with it. It's just my opinion.

Guys - I probably need to clarify: this will not be my primary concealed carry weapon. Everything I currently own is semi-auto and will not properly cycle "rat shot". I was looking for something light that I could have with me in the woods in the spring/summer while doing typical camp work. I considered a airweight S&W (my wife's CCW) but the .410 shot shell packs more punch (and pellets) than rat shot in a .38... Hope this clears up my intentions and I certainly appreciate all the feedback thus far.
