Look at it this way, think of how they all started and now the end of the program, they become the more successful versions of their former selves
How they started
Vince = no commitments
E = friend and smalltime manager
Drama = unsuccessful actor
Turtle = living off of others
Ari = successful cocky agent
How they will end
Vince = falls in love
E = runs the managing firm
Drama = has a hit show
Turtle = Makes it on his own
Ari = becomes owner of an nfl team

Even though I find nothing wrong with banging a porn star, it could lead to Vince's downfall...and yes I am making reference to when Charlie Sheen started with Ginger Lynn. Even though a porn star may not be the direct cause of the downfall, it can lead to a different lifestyle.
Luckily, Charlie Sheen made it out of Rehab multiple times and is now the highest paid actor on TV

I'm usually the one defending Entourage as purely escapist fun. I agree the show is better when Vince and co. are on top, and every episode ends with them looking off into the sunset.
But I think this season's had some semi compelling story lines and a little bit of drama. I don't see the story lines as strange or random. Except for Turtle, they all focus on the entertainment industry in some way. To call last night's episode one of the worst ever because it wasn't a laugh riot just seems off.

That's true. All I am saying is that the story lines are "strange" because entourage has never been like this and has never taken this kind of direction. To start now seems a little odd.
