The hold should not appear at all on your credit report. 500 + gas purchases will report. A bank does not issue a charge to you or report that charge until the money has been exchanged. You shouldnt have an overdraft either but it will decline probably if you go over whatever threshold your CC has. If the hold goes through in full THEN you have an over the limit charge.. Which of course if that were to happen since Aug 22nd wouldnt amount to anything if its just 10 cents over. But of course that shouldnt happen since the hold will just release.
