Naive response. From my Engineering graduating class, I'll bet less than 30% are still in Louisiana, and the majority of those are Chemical or Petroleum Engineers. Not everyone wants to work in the Chem plants or off-shore. Louisiana has no high tech jobs and has little chance of attracting any. Guess there's always Bass Pro Shop or Walmart.
