La Tech Fans...

I was just coming to post this. This is La Tech in a nutshell.

All this talk of moving to the SUN BELT is premature. Partly because we have no idea what the SUN BELT or the rest of the conferences will look like next year

Also what was the list of prerequisites that were give (if they were given at all). Maybe they are good for the Sunbelt

Tech graduate here. shite football program with a substandard fan base. An example = Boise State comes to Tech as #5 in the nation last season, game's on ESPN, Ruston can't fill the stands. Empty seats everywhere (and not just the second half). I live in Ruston, Tech is my 2nd favorite team to LSU simply because I'm an alum, and I can't even get excited enough about Tech football to go to a single game. There is but 1 meaningful college football program in the state of Louisiana, and we all know this. Some just can't accept that fact. Tech needs to just take what it can get.

That gives Tech two years to position itself for a move to a new conference, and a lot can happen in two years.

Once the teams leave the WAC will it even be as strong as the Sunbelt?

I would like to see the old rivals, Tech, ULL & ULM playing but there is no need for Tech to rush into anything right now.
