There are 100's of teams with RPI's between Duke and Southern. No we don't need to play Duke, UNC or Uconn but when you are buying tickets to see D1 basketball you could see playing USM, TCU, Baylor, Okie State, Nebraska, aTm, etc. We (LSU) needs to sell tickets and get fans back, We do not need to see if we can beat every directional school in the state.

i disagree, what we need to do is get ready for the sec schedule, and a weaker ooc schedule does that for us. lets the young players gain some confidence before the conference schedule begins. as much as i like to see good teams in the pmac, this is the right thing to do.
