Good luck to the kid. Was true life-long Tiger fan from what I saw, and I don't blame him at all for not feeling comfortable here after the whole fiasco.
I hope he has a great career at Kentucky. None of this situation was his fault, but he's the one to suffer the consequences.

I just finished Drew Brees' book. There was not a team in his home state of Texas that offered him a scholarship. Porter is still in the SEC and has a scholarship. There are worse positions to be in. He can still achieve his goals. Good luck to him.

This Porter kid endured the worst thing I can imagine, being asked to sit out SIX WHOLE MONTHS.
The absolute horror !
From 18 to 18 1/2 he would have to defer his gratification !
From this day forward, LSU should always offer the exact amount of scholarships available.
Only 2 or three usually fail to qualify.
Actually they should save three for worthy walk-ons and academic superstars.
If we end up with say, 21 guys, who cares really.
On a roster that big what's 8 guys, right ?
I'm ashamed to be an LSU fan.
I hope Porter forgives us.
And I hope Kentucky beats us as long as he is at Kentucky.
And as for this Cameron Fordham sucker, that accepted Mile's greyshirt offer just like Coleman & Trindon, I pity him for not going to like SMU or Valdosta State where he could play this year.
He must have really low standards, imagine the bumpkin that would take one for the team like that....
