They had a "baseball insider" dude (I know, take it for what it's worth) saying that he spoke to someone with Boston and the Red Sox were going to make an offer on Monday and that it would be if not what Anthony wants, close to it. Stated he would be surprised if AR comes back.
Like I said take it for what its worth. I don't remember the dude's name.

Probably was recruited by Rooney (Former LSU pitching coach/Current Head Coach @ UCF) when he 1st decided to come to LSU and he is from Florida if I'm not mistaken so that combined with not pitching at the SEC level consistently puts at UCF!

Closer to home, was recruited and coached by Rooney, doesn't like Mainieri.
