It is way smoother but it is a wetter boat than the cat boat. we never would've made it to the rig in the cat boat.. it was too light in the front to take heavy seas... The Cape Horn fish box is in the front and it was loaded with ice and the drink ice chest (120 quart) was loaded in the front as well.. In the cat boat it didnt have anything in the front so it road high in the front and low in the back making the Center of the console take most of the bigger waves instead of the front.

Last time out was in a 36 yellowfin, damn near swore off fishing.

Was on a big cat two weekends prior and it was a nice ride in similar seas.

Rode out on the Reel Cajun two weeks ago, a 65 foot closed bridge Viking. Nice weekend that was
