I heard it was quite choppy Saturday Morning. Co-worker went out and caught AJ's Saturday.

We went out and it was VERY CHOPPY on the way out... in Terrebone Bay we were in 2-3 foot chop.. we eventually got out the pass and headed south.. It took us from 8-4 to eventually get out to Marco Polo.. It was a 2-3 foot swell with a chop in between the swells so it was a very bumpy ride on the way out. We got out for the afternoon bite and caught a few small YFT on topwaters before we started to set live hardtails for the afternoon bite. Ended up not hooking up to anything during the afternoon bite ( a guide out of fouchon got out right before sundown and they hooked up to a nice YFT right before sunset, they drifted off so i couldn't see if they landed it or not.) We fished from then until about 1 o'clock chunking fishing dead bait and fishing Diamond Jigs. We caught 20 BFT most of them were on Diamond Jigs, but the bigger black fins were caught on dead cut bait. After 1 we drifted off and slept until about 430 and then headed back to the rig and fished ,caught a few more BFT, and started setting up for the morning bite hooked up to one pretty nice YFT but it spit the hooked about 3 min into the fight. We gave it to about 715 and then headed in a caught a few 60 plus AJ on the way in.

The guide was still out there chunking as we left. I think he ended up with about the same amount of BFT and maybe one or two YFT.

All in all it was a respectable trip out to the deep water.
