has anyone seen the original documentary from the 70s?
i just saw the hbo movie about it today (with drew barrymore)
i had never heard of little or big edie, and i found the story fascinating

The original documentary is one of the most overrated movies in history. You are basically watching the filmmaker prod two crazy old ladies into making fools of themselves. Extremely exploitative but at the same time tedious and uninteresting.
