to everyone who is saying to play him now if he is the best player at his position, you know you would be freaking out with 'Shepard isn't getting the ball enough' and all like that, so Miles is a dumbass type commentary. Sure, Gore is a true freshman but that doesn't neccessarily mean he is the best player at his position!

Hopefully this year the best play period.

All kidding aside. It's pretty pathetic that we are even contemplating that there is a possibility that Les would play less talented players over more talented players based solely on seniority. I guarantee that CUM and CNS play their best players. Maybe Les does plays his best and most prepared players. The only evidence for it that I remember from last season is Ruben. However, I sure would have "enjoyed" more of RS last year.

Well then, he shouldn't play!! But if he is as good, he might give the other players some rest. Hopefully, the coaches know best.

I just hope we see sheppard at qb and gore at tb and we run the option to the short side of the field.

he won't play this year because of Miles stupid policy of only playing upperclassmen like Russell Shepherd.

but if he does play it will only be because Miles promised him he would play during recruiting, which sucks for the older players who don't get a chance because of Miles stupid policy of playing guys he promised would play during recruiting...

I lol'd.

Well done.

The only problem with this logic is that it is all posted in the same thread.

You should really start two threads for full impact. Bravo!

from watching the practice video, Gore looked very smooth at wr and quick at rb

still doubt he plays this year but hes going to have a good career at LSU barring injury

From what I remember, Gore did not have a great 40 time. And even though the coaches are very pleased with him does not mean that he is ready to start for the Tigers immediately. He just made it to Baton Rouge. There is a little thing called a play book that he needs to learn. He probably could need a little more muscle and weight. Sometimes people try to read to much into something. Today was the first day in pads for the whole team. Let's try to keep this stuff real.

Nah, just getting some training, he's a rb. They may use him as a screen/slot wr-type (slash/hybrid) role.

I would get excited if we had the luxury to redshirt entire classes so we could build a dynasty.

If Les learns to play his best players we win! If he don't it will be the same old shite.
