All-time favorite bass lure

Ok, so let's say you had one bait to throw to catch bass and you knew nothing about the lake you were fishing. What is your bread and butter lure?

Mine: watermelon seed Zoom trick worm with nail in tail.

It would be tough to beat the trick worm. I never have less than 5 bags when I go out.

red shad worm, and a gamagatsu (sp?) followed closely by a jig an pig..

In clear impoundments, it's tough to get a spinnerbait bait after May unless it's at night. For me anyway, and I love me some spinnerbait fishin'.

My close #2 is a yellow or chartreuse H&H... My grandfather taught me to fish with one of those, and I will stick by it to the day I die. Sentimental value comes into play as well, and the fact that it catches fish is pretty nice too.

Black and Blue worm. My father and I used to kill the bass in False River at night with that 1 bait.

That's gonna be a tough one to beat right there What color works best for you? On my lake here in AZ it's the WMelon w/black and gold fleck - I believe it's the #323
