This being my 1000 post, the first official day of training camp, and my son's 1st birthday, who just started walking today....

What will be the predictions of you, Saints Talk constituents, on how the season will unfold. I.E.: Brees' stats, Bush and Pierre's stats, who will have the SECOND best stats as a receiver, record, and so on.

My take: (Pretty optimistic, huh?)

Brees: 4716 yds, 38 TDs, 16 INTs
Pierre: 1008 Rush yds, 290 Rec yds, 11 total tds
Bush: 610 Rush yds, 540 Rec yds, 11 total tds
Colston: (Best Year) 1320 Rec, 13 tds
Meachem: (2nd Best Rec) 940 Rec, 6 tds

Porter and Greer: 13 INTs combined
Smith and Brown: 19 Sacks combined

Record: 11-5 NFC South Champs, Lose NFC Championship in Green Bay.

I just think it is way too hard to repeat. I know...

What say you?

that's a solid take.I think lower yards for Meacheam and lower TDs for Brees. Lower Int's, sacks looks good.

Brees: 4700 yds, 38 TDs 11 ints
Thomas: 950 yds rushing, 12 total TDs
Bush: 700 yds rushing, 15 total TDs(including PR)
Colston: 75 catches, 1150 yds, 8 TDs
Defense: +20 takeaways.

12-4, lose to Vikings in NFC title game who will lose to Colts in SB XLV sending there record to 0-5 in Super Bowl play.

No shame in losing the NFC Championship game, folks.

Of course, I hope I am wrong and we win it all again, but...
