Hilarious How some fans say ARKANSAS talent isnt in the same league as the MIGHTY tigers. I look at the last 10 years and it sure looks like it on the field! You guys put too much stock in recruiting classes where the difference in 3star to 4star is EXPOSURE in most cases.
Anyway, good luck in 2010 Tigers I always enjoy the matchup

Top line talent isn't really the issue - Ole Miss and Arkansas have produced some of the best players in the conference over the past 10-15 years. It is the breadth and scope of talent that, particularly the top 3 teams (talent-wise) in the league - Florida, Bama and LSU - have. Arkansas, under Nutt, generally got a lot of mileage out of the talent that was available. Petrino, slimy as he is, knows offense. Orgeron probably underperformed with the talent he had at Ole Miss. LSU has underperformed with our overall talent the last two years. Part of that is QB related, but there are other issues.
Bottom line - LSU has more "talented" players at virtually every position than Arkansas except QB and TE. However, Arkansas' QB is (at least thus far) MUCH better than any QB at LSU. That alone can make the difference.
Talent doesn't win football games (Stanford versus USC, Appy State versus Michigan, UAB versus LSU, ULM versus Bama) - however, it sure helps.
