Now that I have everyone's attention.....

While I'm not in admiration of Les Miles in the slightest, I cheer for the LSU Tigers...which includes, at the moment, Miles as head football coach. Therefore, in a roundabout way, I'm still cheering him on, although I don't agree with his methods per se.

That being said, I do wonder from time to time...if we never hire Nick Saban, and we never win the NC under him, do we have this pathetic backlash from the fanbase? I'm proud of LSU, I'm not real proud of the fanbase. While I realize the rant is a horrible sampling, I"m wondering if Saban never gets hired here, do we have this pathetic display of idiocy daily?

I'm an a-hole, and I approve this message.

No, but we also probably wouldn't have 2 MNC's, sooooo which would you rather?
ETA: This thread is stupid

I think there were other coaches that could have turned LSU around. The whole key was to basically make LSU the only place 99% of the top LA recruits wanted to come. Saban helped bring us a NC in 2003 and I am grateful; however, I don't worship him for it.

Probably not. Most fans would still believe that playing for second, behind Alabama, is all that could be hoped for. Saban showed us that LSU could win championships in football.

Most likely not. What if the internet isn't around either for just anyone can get online and post what they want?

But I wouldn't be surprised at all if there is a similar dissatisfaction with whoever the coach is who follows Saban at Bama among an element of Bama fans just like there has been here.
