Not really. i think the majority are in favor of breaking this team up. we arent winning anytime soon so I personally could give a frick if we trade him to a division rival. whoever gives us the best deal is who im rooting for to land roy.

I heard it's Berkman and Oswalt for Pujols and prospects.

Berkman is a 40/40 guy and Albert is on the decline.

He'll be 33 in about 3 weeks. I would say he has 5 good years left.

This is where I stand. I don't care if he goes to St. Louis. He'll just be there for a year and a half. For the guys saying St. Louis won't pay the salary, he said he'd restructure it if it were the Cardinals he were traded to.

Give me some young guys. Roy isn't as dominate as he once was and he can be beat. Ship him to St. Louis and get some bats. It's time for changes.

I have a bad feeling Ed Wade is going to frick this up. I think he is in a good position to move players, he just needs to be willing to start over.

Oswalt- Top pitcher available
Berkman- Past his prime but proven hitter in the postseason, I think if you put him in a good lineup he would be productive.
Myers- Having a good season, been in the postseason, get something for him.
Wandy- His is f'in Wandy plus we know Major League GM's go crazy for lefties. If you get a prospect for him do it.
Blum and Keppinger- Vetern utility guys, get something for them.
Lee- Great chance for a team to get a steal of a contract.

I love The Astros but at this point I want to see youth, if we suck for a few years so be it, I just want to see steps in the right direction.

Well if you're only looking at W-L, you'll get no argument from me.

All of his numbers are on pace for his career norm, and some are better this year than his career.

BAA- .220 career best (by .15/ .034 lower than his career)
Whip- 1.07 (.01 away from career best)
ERA- 3.12 lower than his career ERA

6- 200IP seasons when at least starting 32 games and on pace for his 7th 200IP.

He's only in his 10th season, he's got at least 4 or 5 years to keep these numbers up.

How is he slacking besides W-L again? Let's not talk out of our asses here about his value.
