We are going up to Nashville and looking to stay Friday and Saturday night. Our group is guys 30-35, we are looking to go out Friday Night and Saturday after the game. Anyone have suggestions on an area to stay and something to do Friday during the day?

Thanks in advance.

The Vanderbilt area itself is very, very nice. For your sake, check out the area around the Mall at Green Hills - lots of new bars, eateries, etc. Green Hills is very close to the Vanderbilt campus.

Also, I'm not sure what time you're getting up there Friday, or when you're coming home, but you cannot leave this trip without eating breakfast/brunch at one of either Loveless Cafe or Pancake Pantry.

If you're able go to Loveless Cafe (lovelesscafe.com) - it's famous and the brunch will blow you away.

Friday night before the game a large number of LSU fans go to Graham Central Station. It is a very nice bar that has seven different bars inside.

It is located in the downtown area.

Stay somewhere right on West End. Holiday Inn Vanderbilt has free parking - great for tailgating and it's right next to the stadium. Their restaurant has tvs to watch other football before the big game.
