enjoy...

Saban goes 10-3 in 2001

Saban goes 8-5 in 2002

Saban goes 9-3 in 2004.

He had less talent at alabama the last two years and he goes undefeated in two regular seasons. He couldn't bring LSU an undefeated season. If saban is SOOO much better than miles, then how come he underacheived at LSU with the talent he had? That 02 and 04 record should look familiar, it's about what we were the last 2 years....and remember, we're one or two plays away from beating BAMA all 3 years saban was the coach!!! you can't blame those losses on Les!! last year was a horrible call by the refs and our players being injured. 08' is all Jarrett Lee and crowton!

Maybe Saban's a better coach now than when he was at LSU. Also Bama's program was in better shape than LSU's when he arrived at each school.

Good coaches win close games.

Take that one away and Miles STILL has three times more than Saban last year with, according to our fans- preseason anyway- less talent.

Put that in ya pipe and smoke it.

i've never seen saban lose 9 games in 2 years chief.....
any coach in the country could have coached the talent after saban left.

oh ok, you mean the year we got our first SECC in more than a dozen years? ok, those 8 loses in 2 yrs were a failure.

That was a team effort. We're talking about an individual.

Any poster who starts threads about Saban on this board should have his balls kicked by a mule.

Without Saban setting the foundation and coaching up players, LM's coaching career would have already gotten him fired.

Let me see, 2002.

Played most of the season with no qb. New receivers. Defense was pretty banged up and played the last half of the season hurt, oh, and Damien James got booted off the team midway through the season as well.

You Miles worshipers have it all messed up where I am concerned. When I compare coaches I compare resumes for where they are now, not isolated resumes of when they were only at LSU. Stop comparing what Miles did at LSU and what Saban did only at LSU. If you are asking me who is the better coach right now it's Saban hands down. We have to compete against Saban every year in the West so how good a coach he is relative to Les Miles is a fair comparison. The last 2 years Saban has been on a run rarely seen in SEC history. Undefeated in 2 SEC regular seasons with only 1 SEC loss in 2 years in the nations toughest conference. Also 2 National Championships with 2 different teams is not done on a yearly basis. It's not just what Saban did while he was at LSU, but what's happening now? Saban is owning Les over the last 2 seasons 16-0 to 8-8. This is what matters. You have to give Nicky his props.

wow, what is it about these sabanistas?
saban left lsu b/4 the iowa game. he was cheatin on lsu b/4 the divorce. he then starts screwing the sabanistas mother, and they still call him daddy.

there is some sick retards here.
the childhood issues are soooo sad.

i don't mind admitting i'm insane, how about you?

I'm guessing because he had to build the program up from nothing.
