While this is certainly the administration's goal (kill the tailgating, and concession profits will SKYROCKET), it is also blatantly unfair.
If you want the spot, get there first, period.

I don't get the "border wars" of tailgating but if a group of young kids really give shite to a guy that's been in the same spot since 1963 then those kids should be crotch punched repeatedly.

If somebody makes the effort to secure their spot, it's usually not a problem. The bigger issue I have is with these a-holes "saving" parking spots. No, I'm here now and I'm going to park there. Your buddy can find somewhere else to park when he gets here. I just drove two and a half hours to get to the game so that's my spot.
