I swear she plays the same song over and over again just changes the words.

Understand to some extent since she is a young artist, but I've heard a lot of vareity in the set I witnessed. Doing a take on the Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go" "Devil Went Down to Georgia" and dropping a respectable blues song is not exactly broken record cajun. She does some pop/country stuff that is obviously going the Miley route so like I said I can understand your point. However, IMO she is as exciting a performer as I've seen come up from the bayou lately and she will bring a lot of energy to the party. The only other fiddler I've seen that can rip up horsehair like she does is Doug Kershaw.

FYI I think she plays first, Travis holds down the middle and the whacko Bag of Donuts is the fitting show closer for a party show like this. I also heard there's a downstairs show room where some local bands will be playing so you have some refuge if you just can't bear the kid.
