I'm not sure what you're saying here. All the guys you mentioned are, in fact, some of the greatest players ever. Fact is, however, that we're not just one generation removed from Jim Brown's time. We're 2, 3, or even 4 generations removed from Jim Brown's era and, guess what, it's still the general consensus that he's the greatest running back and it is the majority view that he is the greatest football player that ever put on shoulder pads.
