NBA western conference

Now that the eastern conference is overwhelmingly stacked, is there any dark horse team in the west who can match the Lakers?

The West is a jumbled mess after LA. This is their biggest threat.

LA is still the team to beat.

Portland, OKC, and Houston will be better than they were last year.

Denver and Dallas are still dangerous.

San Antonio, PHX, and Utah are on the decline IMO, though SA and Utah will still probably make the playoffs.

Sacramento and Memphis are interesting teams that will improve but will still be on the outside looking in.

Golden St and the Clippers are talented but they'll find ways to be shitty.


NO is a tough one. Paul is great but I can't see that team making the playoffs even in a weaker West.

Minnesota will still be shitty.
