Fedor does not need the UFC. The UFC needs Fedor. Fedor lost this more than Werdum won it. UFCs heavyweight division is nothing special. Fedor is better than anyone they have. Their champion Brock Lesnar was basically handed the title. The guy has 4 freakin' wins, majority were against scrubs, yet they have him as the face of their franchise. The only guy of significance he beat was Couture, who was WAAAAAY past his prime. In my opinion, Lesnar is still riding in the coattails of his WWF days. Carwin is his 1st real threat and he will expose Lesnar for the fraud he is.

Neither side truly needs the other right now. Fedor is going to have to cave in to UFC if he ever joins that organization but the UFC HW division and Fedor are doing just fine right now without each other business wise.
