I can take a missed call, even the one that cost the US a goal. I can take no replay because it would definitely kill the momentum of the game, I can even take the annoying horns in the background. One thing that just makes me want to turn away from the game are the blatant flops that are so obvious that even from the naked eye in real time don't get called out.

FIFA really needs to address this problem. I love the game and love seeing players go hard to the ball, but when someone falls down and acts like they are dying then 30 seconds later is up playing again just doesn't set well with me. Even more than that is that FIFA refuses to do anything about it. If they fixed this one problem, I think respectability of the game would grow, not only in the US but in the world in general. If you see someone flopping, even after the game on TV, it's an automatic red card, I mean, they don't mind throwing people out of the game when nothing really happened to begin with, so why not someone who is basically lying about being hurt?

I know, dead horse beaten to death many times already, but man, this really irritates me.

I know, I really didn't want to post it, but it made me feel better! Call it therapy for a former college club player that suffered a broken leg from a tackle.

Beat this dead horse until somebody does something about it.

I'm glad you played soccer. It seems all the soccer apologist make the assumption if you critique the sport then you must have never played. Blah blah blah intricacies blah blah blah.

I group up playing my entire life. Religiously! I hate all the pussy flopping faking injury queers too and wish somehow they can control it better.

They do. It's called Simulation and two people got red carded for it the first day of the Cup. The rules are there but FIFA and it's refs are under a lot of heat right now from the media and coaches (see Argentina) because they don't enforce rules enough.

If this is the case good for them, now they need to do it for every incident, until then, it's really still a very large problem. And quite frankly, I'm tired of even half arse trying to defend it to people that have never played.
