Can't remember the year but it was early 80's in Tuscaloosa (or Birmingham) where Bama didn't score one first down the entire first half. It was one of Bear's last games. The Bama fans were stunned and didn't know quite what to do. (Kinda like USC in 1984).

After the game, all the LSU fans stayed in the stadium rocking out with the Tiger Band until the team showered and came back out on the field.

Best memory of a Tiger away game.

The 1982 season. Remember watching on TV & thinking "is that really LSU beating Bammer in B'ham?"

The Tiger D was as good that day as I've ever seen--swarming & suffocating all over the field.

82 in B'Ham. Gets my vote as well.

Too bad that the LSUAD never sent TGBFTL to ANY S.E.C. on campus AWAY GAMES back then. (Only to Jackson every year for the Ole Miss/MSU game and B'Ham for the Bama game every other year)

Basketball Band S.E.C. and Regional tournaments in 80 and 81 were fun trips.

All time best TB trip (Even though it was a Bowl) was to Orlando for the 79 Tangerine Bowl, getting to parade through Walt Disney World and all that. Beat wake Forest 34-10 in the game.
