This is plain stupid. If the kids' parents want to homeschool them, they don't need to play on teams for organized high schools. Start a homeschool team. There are several issues with this including not being able to legitimize their scores and grades to be equal to other students.

Also, its not fair to the kids in that school trying to make the team.

yes. It will also open pandora's box for star athletes who are not making the grades in school. I can see coaches and principals recommending home schooling so the GPA and other scores can come up high enough to qualify for Division 1 schools.
