Gene Stallings has pretty well sold the SEC to the TAMU president. TAMU in the SEC will help them with their instate recruiting, so I don't think they're too worried about it.

I don' know if this is true, but I certainly hope it is. Stallings is a class act, and I liked him a lot despite the whole Bama thing.

The Vice President for Marketing & Communications at A&M also has the President's ear. He is a Moo State guy and his wife is an ex-employee of the SEC office.
