Why don't the SEC pick up Oklahoma and Texas?
SEC has always been ahead of the game ... until now.

Send Arkansas to the Big 12 and re-add Tulane to the SEC so we can recommence the yearly arse-kicking without giving up a home game every other year.

Why split the current TV contracts between more teams??? SEC is fine and happy with 12 teams splitting the biggest money contracts amongst themselves.

Why don't you let the season play out before you start proclaiming shite.
Sweet grammar by the way.

Arkansas is typically a bowl team. LSU would lose that portion of money. Tulane will never be a consistent bowl team.

SEC money would help them.
Also, we need our version of Vandy for the SECW.

Easier schedule, BETTER REFS, wouldn't have to get our arse kicked by Saban and Florida every year.

Should LSU leave SEC for Big XII to replace Nebraska?
Not no, but hell no. Many good answers have already been given. Also, why do you think Nebraska is leaving? Texas is the only team in the Big 12 making loads of money through the conference agreement. Every team in the SEC is getting rich.

Will they get an invite?
Irrelevant, but Big 12 would be more likely to go after Arkansas, if any SEC team.

Mike Slive is ruining the SEC.
How so? Slive is one of the most respected people in sports, period. He has cleaned up a very dirty conference in a short time, without messing up the quality of play.

LSU-Texas, LSU-Oklahoma rivalries would be much closer to attend.
Texas and Oklahoma are longer drives than any of the SEC west. Even Florida (our only other every year opponent) is closer than Oklahoma. Just imagine when we play the teams from the Big 12 North.

There are whisperings that the SEC is perhaps more interested in Texas A&M, which would give them the Texas tv markets without adding another juggernaut. Unlikely, however, that the Texas legislature would let Texas and A&M go to different conferences.

it's not a stupid question. don't rip the guy assholes.
it makes sense. i would love to be in a terrible conference where we only have 1 tough game a year and can roll through the rest of the conference. you all would love les a lot more.
that said, no, i wouldn't think they would join. if anything, i think the sec might try to expand themselves.

So, is the SEC going to absorb ANY schools from the ACC? Florida State and Miami have constantly rejected the SEC.

let vandy go to the big 12, keep arkansas and take texas a&m. re-align the east/west divisions to compensate. or let vandy go and pick up fla. state. these would be the only scenarios i would like to see. and other than scheduling/conference standing issues (like florida being our permanent east opponent and others have the s.c.'s or vandys) the sec is doing pretty good, so don't tinker too much with the best conference around.

1. doesn't matter what you would love
2. Would you really love that as opposed to the great games we get week in and week out in the SEC? Personally, I love the competition of the SEC, I just wish all conferences were equally competitive. Of course, then it becomes the NFL.

so u wanna be USC now, I thought we all hated them for that reason
the reason our guys are so good and we recruit so well is that kids want to play at this level of competition
NFL scouts know what SEC players are capiable of
so yes, it IS a stupid question
