re: Condon On Shockey

When I was little, I went to a convention where Kirby Puckett and Dave Winfield were signing autographs. It cost $20 to get in, and $15 per autograph. I used my money to go, in addition to the 2 baseballs I bought for both men to sign. Puckett was cool and signed it no problem. Winfield bolted after 10 minutes, and took his cut with him. He signed maybe 15 things, and left with over 75 people in line. And so began my disillusionment with pro sports stars. Oh Shockey, say it ain't so.
