Lack of pitching. The team gave up an average of 9 runs per game during that 4-14 stretch, and then 7 runs per game out in LA.

the reason we lost in la was hitting not our pitching.most of those runs came in the first game in wich lsu won. our staff gave up an avg. of 5 runs per game in the last two,the "leaders" of the team failed. dean gibbs landry and mahtook didnt come thru with the bats when needed.im not dogging anyone those guys have been great to watch while here at lsu and i wish them luck in thier futures.
