You don't think guys like Gibbs and Ranaudo are leaders? They exemplify good leadership. We just weren't good enough this year. I guess its a tough concept for people to rationalize.

Again, very talented ball players, but no I don't think they are good leaders.

You don't start 32-6 and then go 4-14 with good leadership. We were not GREAT this year, but we were very good. Much better than a 4-14 stretch, especially getting embarrassed by Tulane and UNO.

That kind of slump doesn't happen to teams with strong leaders.

I thank the team and its coaches for getting off the deck to make and then win the SEC tourney, but something happened to this team in the last month or so of the regular season which can't be totally explained away with "We just weren't good enough this year." imo

I'm not close enough to the team or big enough college baseball expert to figure out what, but hopefully Paul can and fix it.

We might not have been good enough his season to have had hopes of returning to the CWS, but we sure and the hell should have done better than 8th in the SEC. imo
