Correct me if I'm wrong but experts outside of BP said basically from the beginning that there is pretty much nothing they can do to "stop" the oil flow until the relief wells are drilled right???.....so if there is anybody else out there that can get these wells drilled faster then let them have at it but why would an outside entity that is not BP want to try try and try again things that aren't going to stop the spill???

BP's engineers are smarter than the government's fwiw.
The guys working for the government are the ones that counldn't get hired by BP, Chevron, etc

Actually, Obama said in his presser a few days back that his administration has been in control of the effort from the start and that BP is acting at the gov't's direction.
Then he went on to place all of the blame "squarely" on BP.
Go figure...
