re: Zach Lee: Chances that He Takes the Helm as QB, NOT JUST THIS YEAR

I think Zach Lee gets drafted, goes pro and plays for four or five years then comes back to a school to play QB a la Matt Mauck, Chris Winkie.
If he were to come to LSU though, I don't think he would be the ACE starting pitcher or starting QB right away. That would give him time to develop as a QB or pitcher and let both coaching staffs figure out who needs him more and let him figure out which one he wants to concentrate on more.
For the immediate future though, JJ is your QB.

Been focusing on baseball lately, so haven't thought about this and had vomit rise to the back of my mouth since the spring game. . .
Thanks for the reminder . . .

Since he would be on a football scholly, Miles would require him to pay more attention to football the first couple of years. He did this with both Jones and Mitchell.
Miles and Mainieri may get along, but Miles isn't about to use a scholly on a guy so he can be an ace LSU baseball pitcher.
