Really interesting to see......nothing I really order anywhere because the bar is fairly high, and most either have too much bread in them or use fish instead of crab.

these used to be the crown jewel of the seafood platter back in the day....sad to say it hard to find a decent one nowadays. I tend to stay away from them b/c they are full of so much bread.

In BR it would have to be Tony's Seafood

Stuffed crabs and crab cakes are about 99% breading at just about every place I have ever had them. Heck most stuffed crabs, you are lucky to find even a small tiny itty bitty flake of crab.
I can't help you. I used to like the ones at Langensteins but those are 99.8% breading.

Use to love Ralph & Kacoos many years ago...made the mistake of going there today and the Stuffed Crabs were really bad. Tasted very fishy and after complaining was given half off of their cost. Also the hushpuppies aren't near what they use to be..pure cornmeal taste with no flavor. Remembered quickly why we quit going there!

I went to Ralph & Kacoos once and it was terrible.

If you want to modify your question to the best crab cake.......you can get an excellent one at Vincents. Perfect amount of jumbo lump.
