Our baseball team is obviously in a drastic state of decline. I mean, a mid top 25 ranking the year after we win a national championship is unacceptable. Our program is better than that! There's no excuse for Paul Mainieri allowing Anthony Ranaudo to get hurt for most of the year. Also, he should've gone out and convinced some top pro prospect pitchers to skip the pros and come to college, because we ALL know that true freshman pitchers are much better than the former top "prospect" So and Jrs on the team now. C'mon MAAAN! No WAY Nick Saban would've let this happen. So here's the poll, how many games will it take for Coach Mainieri to lose his job?

Fire him if they don't win 2/3 this weekend.

For all of you who have an elementary understanding of sattire, that post is meant to be a joke about our fan base.
On a more serious note, losing to UNO was embarrassing. I don't think it points to anything more than an overall lack of focus/ confidence. No doubt coach mainieri will get these guys turned around. We don't need a new roster, we need this roster to play with a chip on thier shoulders.

I agree. PM won with Smoke's players. He will fizzle out now.
