Click on Hot Seat 2010
ESPN saying Les is on the Hot Seat. Apparently the Rant isn't the only one seeing it.

Oh and ESPN HATES LSU!

ESPN has guys that troll message boards like this one. It's the future of sports reporting. Read what the idiots are saying and report it as news.

Actually, I don't consider "the hot seat" as an actual news story. It should be in the gossip section of ESPN's website.

I agree, which is why I think the guy made an emphasis on saying fans and alumni have him on the hot seat.

He probably should have said "Internet posters have him on the hot seat".

Just about every LSU fan/alumni that I run into around town (Pen) or in FWB/Destin/PCB thinks we have major coaching problems and that he's on the hot seat as well. About the only ones that don't are the Rant "See no evil/Hear no evil/Speak no evil" Cheerleader types......

He is on the hot seat now... like it or not. 8-8 in the SEC the last 2 years with the kind of talent LSU has and a 4 mill salary is unacceptable.

LSU's fans, AD and Chancellor can now see that Miles' coaching philosophy lacks 2 of the most important components to being elite (discipline and organization). The result is consistently under performing teams (got lucky in'07 even with Saban's players/attitude).

Watch the "posi-tigers" now....you will get some morons in this thread soon...

I don't think there is any one who doesn't think he's on the hot seat, what it will take to move him this year is debatable, and some think he could buy another year using Crowton as the scapegoat. Most of the argument is against the "there's no hope left" mindset.

8-4 is the watermark in my opinion. It may get run but anything better he is safe and anything worse he is done.

He's not on the hot seat because of 'internet posters'. He's on the hot seat because his coaching methodology sucks and he has underperformed with top 5 recruiting talent for the last 2 years. Internet posters are only pointing it out.

probably so, however with the schedule you'd really have to look at the quality of work. If Crowton still stinks and there is no sign of life at the QB position, then I'd support making a move, even at 8-4 or 9-3.

hope you are right.... LSU Football can be elite again, but it will take a change at the top.

Miles doesn't have nearly as much pressure as RR at Michigan.

Thanks for updating the Redneck Riviera opinion poll. I'm sure you worked very hard to get that Professional Photography degree.

LSU fans that don't want to pull for Saban or Meyer? Fans that actually want to pull for a college they graduated from or are affiliated with? How dare they!

Did you mean Gerry DiNardo, with a "G" not "J"?

Interesting you don't know basic things like that..
