Served on the U.S.S. President Adams.
Piloted the Higgins boat APA-19-2.
Made 7 invasions in the pacific.
Guadalcanal-Tulagi
Occupation of Rendova, New Georgia Group
Bougainville operation
Emirau Island
Cape Gloucester, New Britian
Capture and occupation of Guam
Lingayen Gulf in Philippines
Capture of Iwo Jima (made 5 landings on the beach with his Higgins boat)
Sorry should have said he was a Navy man not a Marine.
Served on the U.S.S. President Adams.
